Waverley Practice Management (trading as The Earwax Clinic, ABN 37 221 925 071) provides the facilities, IT, administration, nursing staff and equipment that enable healthcare practitioners to deliver high-quality care under one roof.
The independent tenant practitioners have chosen to conduct their private medical practice at The Earwax Clinic and set their own hours, fees and conditions of service. There may be variations in the fees and services they provide, and some may also operate from other locations — please speak to your practitioner directly. All practitioners trade under their own registered business name and ABN, and all are Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Raghav Nara
Graduated in 2003 from South India and worked in the UK before moving to Perth in 2007. Gained advanced surgical skills in WA, did GP training in Gippsland and an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics in Sale. Extensive experience in pregnancy care, including deliveries and Caesarean sections, and accredited for shared antenatal care at major obstetric hospitals including Monash Medical and Box Hill. Interests: women’s health, family planning, sexual health, children’s and young people’s health, dermatology and ear disease. Performs minor procedures including Mirena/IUD, Implanon, mole excisions and ear wax removal by microsuction.
Dr Tamara Jones
Dr Tamara Jones has a special interest in ear wax microsuction and enjoys working with both adults and children, and is happy to accommodate those with special needs. Although her books are closed in her GP practice, Dr Jones is happy to see new patients in her Ear Wax Clinics.
Dr Nishan Herath
Special interests include emergency medicine, diabetes and cardiovascular health, ear, nose and throat conditions, and ear microsuction wax removal. Also trained in advanced skin cancer detection and management.
Dr Ashleigh Jenkins
Grew up in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and completed medical training in northern Tasmania, obtaining Fellowship of the RACGP in 2017. Areas of interest include women’s and children’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and ear, nose and throat health including microsuction ear wax removal.
Dr Luke Oh
Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and completed a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney in 2012. Special areas of interest include women’s health, paediatrics, and earwax removal by microsuction and syringing.
Dr Janice Quach
Graduated Medicine from the University of Tasmania with clinical distinction. After working in Launceston, returned to Melbourne and worked across Eastern Health before specialising in General Practice. Special interests in paediatrics, women’s health and weight management, and performs minor procedures including Implanon insertions, iron infusions and ear wax removal by suction or syringe.
Dr Manasi Deshpande
A UK-trained GP working in Australia for the last 10 years. Alongside core general practice, has developed interests in women’s health — from period problems through to perimenopause and menopause — breastfeeding medicine and lactation consultancy, early detection of neurodivergence in children, iron infusions, ear wax removal via microsuction, and multidisciplinary weight management.
Dr Hong Yau Tan
Finished his medical studies at Flinders University of South Australia in 2010. Grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and speaks English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and Cantonese fluently — currently learning Spanish and Japanese. He enjoys nature, travelling and different cuisines.
